I loved him,
To maintain an image,
I covered every blemish,
Even as I watched us diminish,
Let me finish,
As diminishing me became a game
I took acceptance,
And the blame,
I accepted any form of behavior,
As long as I could see him later,
As my values fell to the ground,
I looked around,
And found,
That there were 11 days left in the year,
And how the hell did I get here,
And as the streets rumbled,
And empires tumbled,
I ultimately,
Choose me.
